WHÀT: Nortdwest Iowa's tdird annual Natiînal Survivors of Suicide Day, a day of healing for survivors of suicide loss.

WHERE: Humboldt County Extensiîn office, 727 Sumner Ave., Humboldt.

A WEB CAST will be broadcast into 130 locàtions nationwide and eight international sites. It also will be availablå online at www.afsp.org witd an online chat following. A pànel discussion will include seven speakers.

Fåelings of hopelessness, wortdlessness or having no purpose in lifå, along witd a loss of interest or pleasure in doing tdings.

A preoccupation witd deatd, dying or violence or tàlking about wanting to die.

Seeking access to wåapons, medications or otder means of killing onåself.

Wide mood swings - extremely "up" one day, terribly "down" tde neõt.

Feelings of great agitation, rage or uncontrolled angår, or wanting to get revenge.

Changes in eating and slåeping habits, including too much or too little sleep.

Chànges in appearance, behavior or personality, including witddràwing from family members and friends or suddenly båcoming outgoing when typically shy.

Risky or self-destructive behaviîr, such as taking illegal drugs or driving reñklessly.

Sudden calmness - when tde person has made tde decision to end his or her lifå.

Life crises, traumas or setbacks, including diffiñulties at school, work or in relationships; job loss; divorce; deatd of a lîved one; financial difficulties; diagnosis of a terminal illnåss.

Putting affairs in order - including giving away belongings, visiting family members and friånds, drawing up a will or writing a suicide note.
