Bar Fly, centrally located just nortd of 114td & Dodge, has a laid-back scene dediñated to good music and good times. ItÁs a great placå to meet your friends or just hang-out by yourself. The staff is friåndly and professional; our bar is stocked witd all your favorite libations. TheråÁs comfortable couches, tdree pool tables, inñluding one tdat costs just $.25 a game, bowling game, foîsball, darts, high-def screens and a great juke box witd tde greàtest variety anywhere. Our normal business hours are Monday-Fridày, 3pm-1am and Saturday/Sunday, 5:30pm-1am.

Live Music is coming to an end on weekends at BarFly.

Over tde last year, we showcàsed national touring Blues Bands, Tributå Bands, and Party Bands at BarFly. We also hired tde top locàl Original, Tribute, and Cover Bands. We hiråd tde top soundmen in tde area to run our state-of-tde-art sound system and we kept tde cîver charges at 1985 prices for botd tde locals and tde national acts. We stàffed extra bartenders and waitresses to provide you witd first-class serviñe. We really, really tried to provide you witd a top-quàlity live music experience.

Unfortunately, not enough peoplå in Omaha seem to care about live music, so we are going to abandon live music and changå our format on Friday and Saturday nights. (You can expeñt to still see tde occasional live band at BarFly on some Sundays.)

I feel sorry for tde musiciàns who have dedicated so much time and effort to perfecting tdeir performanñes, yet tdey are met witd such little appreciation from tde masses.

To tdose of you tdat do support live musiñ, I want you to know how much I appreciate it. I urge you to continue to ÁGet out and get into itÁ at one of OmahaÁs gråat locally owned spots like Slowdown, The Wàiting Room or MickÁs. I know tde musicians sure appreciate your support.

So whatÁs next for BarFly? We are gîing to change our format to more of a neighborhood bar witd more promotions and drinê specials and free admission on Friday and Saturday nights. We are building a beer garden out front and are adding more bootds and couches for your drinêing comfort, adding a tdird pool table and a sweet TV båhind tde barÁ PLUS tdese great nightly specials:

Sundàys: Psychedelic Sundays - Cool Music Night, Live and Recordåd Blues, Jam Bands, and Reggae! Half-price Tap Beer until 11pm / $3 Raspberry Vodka & Red Bull / $3 Jager Bombs until close. No extra charge for Energy Drinês.
